York University was founded in 1959, located in downtown Toronto - the largest city in Canada. York is considered Canada's third-largest university and is home to the second-largest graduate program in Ontario with more than 50 Masters, PhD programs and professional training.

Study program

1. Academic English Program:

The program is designed in 6 levels.

Levels 1-3: Create a solid foundation in four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Levels 4-6: focus on linguistic forms, analytical thinking ability, study skills, research. The time to complete each level is 8 weeks.

2. Bachelor program:

Specialization: Economics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering, Aerospace, History, Mathematics, Physics, Law, Environmental Sciences, Sociology, ...

Request:

+ Minimum of 7.0, some technical branches require 8.0 - 8.5;

+ Minimum English: (depending on majors) 83-100 iBT or IELTS 6.5-7.5

Enrollment in a highly competitive school, students may apply early when they are in grade 11.

3. Pre-Masters Program:

For students interested in the North American graduate program.

Condition: University graduate; IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 69 iBT, or 68% of the overall YUELI test score

Time: 8 months

4. MBA Program. Length: 8 weeks

Prepare intermediate or advanced English language proficiency students to study MBA in North American universities.

The curriculum focuses on the language used in the business environment, enhances business writing skills, research, case analysis, presentation skills and leadership.

Residence: Dormitory or homestay. Families are about 30-45 minutes away from the university by public transport.
